A busy week as we prepare for the election polling booth on Saturday. We will be having a 'democracy sausage sizzle' situated outside the doors to the parish centre instead of in the Farmers' Market (which is also on this Saturday).
If you can assist at the barbecue (cooking, serving, taking money) please let me know as I am preparing a roster for 2 hour shifts between 9am and 4pm - 0421 321 321.
Of your charity, pray for the recently departed and their families:
Patricia Mary 'Judy' Were
Professor Ruth Frances Bishop AC
May they Rest In Peace and rise in glory!
The funeral for Judy Were will be held at St Paul's Anglican Church, 63 Windella Ave, Kew East on Monday 23 May 2022 at 2.30pm. Her ashes will be interred in our Garden of Remembrance at a later date.
The other funerals are at St Andrew's on 24 May.
Interment for the late Roger Sanderson
On Sunday next, 22 May, at the end of the 10am service, we will be interring Roger's ashes in the Garden of Remembrance. Everyone is welcome to proceed to the Garden and there will subsequently be refreshments in the Pioneer Chapel.
Last chance to book for this concert on Sunday afternoon next. Should be a great afternoon.
