Blessing of our Pets
Our blessing service focuses on God and the pets that he has given us, recognising that all living creatures belong to and reflect the work of the Creator. We are reminded that humans are meant to be responsible stewards who treat animals and nature with kindness, respect, and mercy. We have the opportunity, as pet owners to thank God for the emotional support, comfort, and joy that pets bring to their lives. St. Francis of Assisi is known as the patron saint of animals and the environment. Francis viewed all creatures as his "brothers and sisters".
