Return to usual service times on Sundays 8am and 10am - Sunday 4 February.

Join us in the  grounds of St Andrew’s Church for a Chinese New Year outreach event between 10am and 2 pm on Saturday 3 February 2024! Sponsored by Bayside City Council and Church Street Traders.


Immerse in cultural festivities and fun, featuring:

  • traditional Lion and Dragon dances

  • delightful Sausage Sizzle,

  • soulful Gu Zheng melodies,

  • captivating Traditional Chinese Dances,

  • Chinese Mask Painting for kids.

  • Contribute your hopes and prayers to the Prayer Tree,

  • explore Chinese Calligraphy,

  • enjoy a Cello and Violin performance,

  • witness the grace of a Tai Ji Sword demonstration.


Embrace diversity and join us in weaving a tapestry of traditions and culture. Save the date for laughter, cultural exchange, and community spirit in the grounds of  St Andrew’ Brighton!

Happy 100th birthday

Frank Sims celebrated his 100th birthday during the week with a service at Vasey Brighton East. Congratulations to Frank on this wonderful achievement. Many happy returns.
