Vicarage garden

On 6 May, Coronation Day, we are having a working bee in the front vicarage garden from 9am. Refreshments will be available.

We will be celebrating the Coronation at our 10am service on Sunday 7 May, with a special Eucharist service from the Church of England. Please join us for what may be the last time we celebrate the coronation of a monarch.

Coronation Quiche

Her Majesty The Queen Consort has been Patron of the Big Lunch initiative since 2013 and has attended Big Lunches all across the UK and the world, including in Ghana and Barbados.

The Coronation Big Lunch aims to brings neighbours and communities together to celebrate the Coronation and share friendship, food and fun. They have selected a quiche recipe - Coronation quiche. I will endeavour to make one for us to sample after the 10am service on 7 May. Just a sliver to try it.

If you are interested in the recipe, it can be found here.

Our choir are joining with the choir of Trinity College to sing in the coronation at Choral Evensong which, this month, will be at Trinity College Chapel, 100 Royal Parade Parkville.

Please join us there for a beautiful service.

Removal of pew risers

Johnson Xu and Brighton Liu slaved away on Sunday afternoon and removed the riser steps on one side of the gallery. The other side will be done shortly. Many thanks to Brighton and Johnson for the long day working upstairs.
