Congratulations to our soprano Lay Clerk, Rachael Joyce who was the winner of 3MBS The Talent (Season 2-2019).
Since 2013, The Talent continues to be a live-to-air performance radio series devised by 3MBS Fine Music Melbourne to provide opportunities for emerging musicians to help bridge the gap between their student and professional careers.
Each performance is scored by the industry mentors. The three musicians with the highest scores compete as finalists for a chance to win the season!
The season winner is awarded a Winners Recital at Classic Cinema. This is inclusive of a professional recording and marketing package. The winner also receives a feature in Limelight Magazine: Online Rising Star and more!

It is my pleasure to advise that the Archbishop has indicated to the Rev’d Michelle Wang that he intends to ordain her to the order of Priest at 10.30am on Saturday 23 November. A formal notice to this effect (‘Si quis’) was read at services last weekend. All are welcome to attend the ordination at St Paul’s Cathedral.
Michelle’s first service of Holy Eucharist at will be at Sat@6 at St Andrew’s on
the evening of her ordination. This will be followed by refreshments at around
7.00pm. All parishioners are welcome and invited to celebrate with Michelle on
this special occasion – please put this in your diary, and bring a plate of food to
share. Michelle will then celebrate the Eucharist at the 10am service on Sunday
24 November.
Congratulations to Vivian Wang who has received her permanent residency after
a three year wait.
