Epiphany 2

John 1:29 is a pivotal Bible verse where John the Baptist points to Jesus, declaring, "Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!". This title signifies Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies (like the Passover lamb and Isaiah's Suffering Servant) to atone for humanity's sins, offering redemption and reconciliation with God, a concept central to Christian theology.
