Pentecost

Louis Galloche, 18th century

This weekend we celebrate the feast of Pentecost, and HM the Queen's platinum anniversary. Even the city buildings are lit to celebrate the latter.

So, if you remember, wear something red for Pentecost tomorrow.

The Brighton Covenant Churches traditionally swap readers for their main Pentecost service and this Sunday Maurice Phibbs will be joining us from St Finbar’s Catholic Church, and we welcome him to St Andrew's.

Please note that there will be incense in the sanctuary at the 10am service.

Vale

This week we farewelled Christine Golding and offer our condolences to her family. Her funeral was a joint Anglican and Greek Orthodox service.

May she Rest In Peace and rise in glory.
