Craft and Chat
CRAFT AND CHAT is a group that gathers fortnightly in an informal way to chat and share life stories with others. As we chat, we make things – any handwork that is portable is seen around the table.
Some of the CRAFT AND CHAT group knit jumpers and scarves for Andy Bear – the bear of
St Andrews who is given to babies and children at baptism and others, to show our love and care. Others of the group, knit rugs for those who live in nursing homes and those for whom we care. Others use the opportunity to do their own handwork.
The focus of Craft and Chat during its 5 years, is friendship and care. We specially welcome those who are not members of St Andrew’s parish, but who would like to be part of a relaxed, friendly group of people.
Craft and chatWHERE: Meeting room 1 of the Halls at 19-21 St Andrews Street, Brighton
WHEN: Every first and third Monday from 2-4pm.
We contribute $2 per meeting to cover the cost of our afternoon coffee and wool purchases.
